Digital reference libraries and online resources to help with information literacy, the education of future librarians, and to do our part to reduce the digital divide.

Hello and Welcome!
The first of anything is always a bit awkward. I've blogged (primarily using Google's older version) as the "library student." Now I'm a graduate. Time to move on.
I'm the Operations Assistant for Maryland AskUsNow!, and Statewide Coordinator for Ask a Librarian DE. Prior to this, I briefly tried my hand at directing a small, rural library in southern Delaware. I have also worked in Cecil County as an adjunct librarian for Cecil College, and for the Cecil County Public Library and in various capacities, from outreach to electronic services.
I began Drexel University during the Spring quarter of 2004 and finished my MLS degree in December, 2006. I was also inducted into Beta Phi Mu in 2007.
I have worked with middle school students, outreach, adult services, college students, online chat reference work, MLS-grad students, and the general public. My library work consists of planning, marketing, website design, library services, and library management - all focused upon how we, as a public library, can best serve our community.
I constantly think about my writing! I've written two novels, poetry, short stories, and half of a script. Such is life!
